I’ve waited for this day to come for so long. I suddenly woke up at 5am. Laying in bed trying to go back to sleep was the last thing on my mind. I just couldn’t believe I was going to see J.Cole in concert. I fell back asleep and woke up at 10am. Did some cleaning and took my time to get ready. Time flew by so fast I couldn’t wait any longer. Me and my girl Bridney went to go Analiza then went back to my house and waited for my Mom. (I thank my Mom so much for taking me and letting me have an opportunity to go.) We left the house at 4 and the concert was at this University in this town one hour away. Got at the University around 6pm.
I couldn’t control my excitement. As my Mom dropped us off at the Auditorium. We saw a tour bus and I was thinking it was J.Cole’s tour bus. Some guy was standing in front of it and security guards. Then I saw some guy walking toward the bus I was guessing it was his manager.
Me:Is J.Cole in there?!
Guy:Yeah..
Me: Can we see him?!
Guy: Yeah! Come on!
all 3 of us were screaming! GOING INSANE!
Guy: Nevermind, you guys are too happy!
Right then and there we had a chance to meet J.Cole.. Walking into the Auditorium we still couldn’t believe we had a chance to have a conversation with him. We found our seats and waited for 2 hours. They said the concert started at 7pm but it ended up being at 8 o’clock. At first they had some opening acts. It was interesting. Just some people rapping and trying to get their name out there.
They dim the lights and started playing “Welcome” then J.Cole came out. I felt like it was all a dream. It was amazing. It’s just something about J.Cole that I fucking admire so much. Just being in the same room as him and vibin to his music live is insane. Dreams really do come true. I have so much respect for this guy. Thank you J.Cole for a good ass time! He kept making the crowd laugh and he knew how to keep it hyped up. Sadly, the concert only lasted an hour but it was worth it.
Me,Bridney,and Analiza waited outside for my Mom to come get us. Good thing my brother went too since he had company going around town. So we were just waiting in front of the door and taking pictures then decided to go where my Mom had dropped us off. As we were walking we saw a group of people in front of the tour bus. We were thinking what!? why are these people waiting here? So I walked up and asked someone “Are you guys waiting to take a picture with him?” Everyone was like yes! True ass fans to be waiting for him after the concert. Then he finally came out the building.. I tried to stay calm as much as possible and the security guard was like thinking we were all crazy! It was funny. I was 3rd in line to take a picture with him. Omg he smelled so good. So fucking tall! I just wanted to be in his arms and didn’t want to let go.. as I was walking up to him I couldn’t even talk. I was so speechless.
Me:”Omg you’re so tall! I’m so short!”

I was about to faint. I just met one of my favorite rappers. I will never forget yesterday. November 6th 2010. I love how he appreciates his fans so much.
